Game Summary

Cardinals fall in Overtime

The 8th grade Boys Basketball Team lost a close one in Overtime on Monday evening against Springfield Catholic Central. After trailing by double digits with under 2 minutes remaining in regulation, the Cards clawed back and a Matthew Yocom three-pointer at the buzzer sent the game into Overtime. Unfortunately, they couldn't pull out the win and eventually fell by a score of 54-58. Kane Bailey led the Cardinals with 15 points while Hunter Thompson, Cam Thomas and Matthew Yocom each chipped in 12. The Cardinals are back in action this Wednesday evening at home against Greeneview where they'll look to pick up a win before the long Christmas Break.
