2019 FALL SPORTS/ATHLETIC DIRECTOR MEETING SET FOR JULY 30, 6:30 PM RIDGEVIEW GYM
RIDGEVIEW - The annual Athletic Director meeting for Ridgeview Fall sports participants will be held Tuesday, July 30th at 6:30 pm in the Gym at Ridgeview. This is mandatory for student-athletes and is optional for parents.
Practice for all sports except football begins August 1st. Please visit pctigerfootball.com for the football practice schedule and additional information.
Please note a pre-particpation physical is required to participate in all tryouts and practices.

Cross Country 2019
2019 RIDGEVIEW BOYS/GIRLS

Cross Country is a sport of distance running. Our races are 2 miles in distance and should take between 10 and 20 minutes to complete.
All eligible athletes will run in all races, no one sits the “bench”.
Boys and Girls run separate races and 7th/8th grade run together
Mandatory Athlete Policies Meeting/Parent Meeting:
July 30th @6:30pm in Ridgeview Main Gym 6pm. Athletes must attend
Physicals:
Don’t forget to schedule a physical with your doctor ASAP. You are NOT permitted to practice until you have one. Physicals are good for one year from the date of your last one.
Summer Running:
See attached Brochure. Please come to the first day of practice in shape this year. The summer running is very easy for you to do. There is NO excuse to come in out of shape.

Aug. 5,6,7,8 @Sycamore Park Shelter house 8:30-10am
Aug.12,14 @Ridgeview 3:15-4:45
Practice time once school starts is 3:15-4:45pm(Study table 2:15-3:00)

ATTENTION ALL INCOMING 7TH – 8TH GRADE BOYS
THE PICKERINGTON RIDGEVIEW BOYS GOLF TEAM IS ACTIVELY LOOKING TO ADD MEMBERS TO THE PROGRAM
- AT THE JR. HIGH LEVEL (7TH/8TH),
SOME MINOR BACKGROUND TO GOLF IS NECESSARY
- THE STUDENT-ATHLETES DO NEED THEIR OWN EQUIPMENT AND SOME EXPERIENCE ON THE GOLF COURSE AND DRIVING RANGE
- ALL STUDENT-ATHLETES NEED A COMPLETED PHYSICAL PRIOR TO TRYOUTS
