The Miami Trace girls golf team remained undefeated in Frontier Athletic Conference play as they won the third FAC match of the 2020 season, held on Wednesday, Aug. 26 at The Greens.

Miami Trace shot a team score of 208.

Chillicothe placed second with a 215, followed closely by McClain with a 218.


Jackson placed fourth with a 231 and Washington was fifth with a 279.McClain’s Bri Weller was the match meadlist with a 44.

Hillsboro does not have a girls golf team this season.

Alyssa Butler led Miami Trace with a 47, followed by Libby Aleshire with a 48.

Makayla Barnes shot a 53 and Destinee Butcher had a 60.

Mara Simonson shot a 67 and Taylor Moore a 68.

For the Lady Lions, Savannah Osborne had the low score of 63. Taylor Hixson shot a 67 and Kaitlin Coder had a 72.


Other scores for McClain: Shayna Beatty, 52; Cate Willis, 60; Emma Stegbauer, 62 and Abby Wise, 70.Megan Smith had a score of 77, followed by Kennedy Sutton, 78 and Ciara Coy, 79.

Scores for Chillicothe: Isabella Fischer, 47; Avery Brown, 54; Caroline Corcoran, 57; Julie Lemaster, 57; Meryl Haller, 60 and Mikayla Spaulding, 66.

Scores for Jackson: Madeline Lewis, 49; Kaltra Woltz, 57; Peyton Ramsey-Arthur, 62; Sierra Stiffler, 63; Isabella Scully-Tenpenny, 70 and Aisley Coleman, 76.

Miami Trace was scheduled to play at Hillsboro Monday and Washington’s next match is at Buckeye Hills Wednesday.
