  • Gabe Spiers, Junior baseball, has had a great start for us this season. He is one of our starting pitchers and then plays first base when he is not pitching. A lot of our success is in account of Gabe. Gabe is a hard worker and a great team player. He always puts team first and wants the team to be very successful. Gabe's current stats are: 13-33 at the plate for an average of.394, with 3 doubles, and 3 triples. He also has 17 RBI's. His pitching stats are: 1-2 with 20 innings pitched with a 2.10 ERA. he also has 26 K's on the year.

Rachel Pickering, Senior track, runs the 100m and 300m hurdles, as well as the girls 4x800 relay. In fact, she is the only girl hurdler on the team. On a few occasions, she has run the 1600m run or other events as needed by our small team this season. She encourages other teammates to go the extra mile and put in their best effort as well. She also did basketball and tennis. Outside of sports, Rachel has been involved in choir, high school musicals and French club and on the honor roll. Rachel will be greatly missed next year and we will her the best of luck in her future endeavors at Ohio Northern University!
