Lady Cards fall short to Cedarville

Triad Lady Cardinal 11 for 50 shooting from the floor, and a top notch game by Cedarville All Ohio Candidate Maggie Coe, resulted in a 63-36 Lady Indian Ohio Heritage Conference win for the host Lady Indians on Thursday evening.

Triad stayed close in the first half until a 6-0 spurt late in the 2nd quarter gave Cedarville a 28-15 lead at intermission.  The Lady Indians put the game away with a 24 point 3rd quarter.

Cati LeVan led the Lady Cards with 15 points, with sister Frani chipping in with 13.  Kristin Bailey hauled down 6 rebounds and Makenzie Cauley had 3 blocked shots for Triad.  Coe notched 16 in the first half for Cedarville, and finished up with 18.

With the loss, Triad drops to 7-9 on the season, 3-8 in OHC play.  The Lady Cards play another OHC game on Saturday afternoon at home against West Jefferson.
