Coach Hunter Team Philosophy:
What I love about the sports I competed in is the fact that there is nowhere to hide. You are on display out there for everyone to see with nowhere to hide and you’re only going to get as far as you want to get.
With both running and wrestling, you compete individually but for the good of the team. All I ask of my athletes is to come to practice every day ready to work and become a better runner every chance they get.
Every time the step on the line and the gun sounds, I expect them to hammer and race to their absolute best ability. If they have the desire to put in the time and work it takes to do that then were going to have success.
I like to remind them at practices in the middle of a tough workout when they might start doubting themselves, if you want to go places you've never gone before, you have to do things you've never done before.
